Cate Nelson-Shaw
Interim Chief Executive
A marketing and communications specialist, Cate has worked across the public, private and third sectors, at both executive and board level. Over the last few years she has been working as a Fractional CEO in the arts, transport and economic regeneration sectors. Prior to this Cate held senior marketing and communications roles in the private sector across a diverse range of sectors and founded and ran her own consultancy business.
Currently a Board Member of Dance Base, Cate has also served on the Board at Glasgow Council for the Voluntary Sector, Changing the Chemistry and the Public Sector Body Creative Scotland. She began her career with The Boots Company PLC on their Graduate Programme.
Cate loves the arts and creativity, is a keen traveller and is learning to row. When she’s not wild swimming with the Blue Tits, her and her husband run a complimentary taxi service for their two teenagers.

Diane Wilson
Head of Operations and Development
Diane has worked in the third sector in Scotland for over 25 years, starting her career in a local Enterprise Trust before working for a national umbrella organisation and for several Scottish funders. A large focus of her work including a period as a self-employed consultant, has been on providing monitoring and evaluation support, as well as delivering fund management services. Diane joined Impact Funding Partners in 2012 and took up a new post as Head of Operations and Development in 2021, supporting the strategic objectives of the organisation, providing operational management and ensuring best in class fund management and consultancy service delivery.
Outside of work Diane enjoys long walks with her dog, time with family and friends and is a Brownie Leader.

Pauline Dewar
Business Services Manager
Pauline joined Impact Funding Partners in 2015 and now manages the administration function and contracts for all business support services and resources. This includes ensuring the accurate administration and compliance of Governance, Finance and Human Resources. Pauline has experience of working in the third sector which spans over twenty years, having also worked in the public and private sector prior to that. Pauline enjoys working with an organisation who focus on social justice, providing opportunities and making a difference to communities and individuals.
Away from work, Pauline enjoys walking, holidays, catching up with friends and family and has a passion for cooking.

Ewan Davidson

Ewan has spent nearly 20 years working in the third sector. After obtaining a degree in Sociology and Social Policy, Ewan worked in a range of positions varying from support worker to manager. Each role has been to reduce social inequality and empower individuals and communities. Since starting with Impact Funding Partners, Ewan has worked on all stages of the Fund Management arm, and now plays a key role in the consultancy and evaluation work that we are delivering. In his role, Ewan is passionate about creating development and partnership opportunities to create greater social impact, and ensure equality and fairness exists.
When not at work, Ewan enjoys spending time with friends and family, walking, cooking and is a massive dog lover.

Fiona Inglis
Development Officer
Fiona has worked in varied roles across the third sector since 2012. From supporting children and young people in care and within special educational settings to roles specifically managing volunteer programmes and developing communities. Fiona works across the Impact Funding Partners team to deliver fund management and consultancy pieces of work. She strongly promotes working in partnership with other organisations and the benefits it can bring to them and their wider communities. Fiona has developed a range of tools and opportunities that helps improve networking within a range of sectors across Scotland, including peer support and learning sessions.

Laura Leslie
Development Officer
Laura has worked in a range of roles in the public and third sectors, focused on creating impact for communities through creative and social justice projects. She trained as a musician and most recently worked with another Fund Manager, collaborating with local authorities to provide access to music projects for the benefit of children and young people. Laura joined Impact Funding Partners in 2024, and works to provide fund management across a varied portfolio, while ensuring funded organisations are supported to deliver successful projects with maximum social impact.
Away from work, Laura enjoys going to gigs, keeping fit and socialising with friends.

Anna Rogers
Compliance Officer
Anna has been part of the team since 2013, and in that time built up a wealth of knowledge and experience in Grant Management administration and CRM systems. Her previous roles within events management, customer service and charities have given her the skills to deliver quality and bespoke services to our diverse client base. Anna strives to simplify and streamline the processes involved in Fund Management, without losing sight of the purpose of the Funding we manage.

Sarah Woolf
Compliance and Development Co-ordinator
Sarah’s first role working for a children’s disability charity gave her a passion for social justice, equity and inclusion, leading her to successfully complete a degree in Sociology. She has held a number of roles within the third sector, including working in development and fundraising, and supporting a Humanitarian Law Centre in Kosovo. Sarah joined us in 2024 in the Compliance and Development Co-ordinator role that supports both the compliance and business functions of Impact Funding Partners.
Away from work, Sarah can be found exploring Glasgow, and visiting her family in Edinburgh.
