IFP believes, and research evidence clearly shows, that small grants make a real and lasting difference to communities in Scotland. Similar small funds have been up to ten times oversubscribed, highlighting the importance of this as small organisations and local communities are often the hardest to reach and cannot be sustained and flourish without funding.
This alternative approach to funding allows small organisations to build additional capacity and deliver real and sustainable change within their local communities, small grants = big impact.
To demonstrate this impact, IFP will provide the donor with regular updates and reports showing the distribution of the funding, number of beneficiaries and the impact it has had on individuals and communities.
