Impact Funding Partners is pleased to announce the appointment of Tricia Imrie as Chief Executive to succeed Keith Wimbles.

Tricia will initially join Impact Funding Partners as Chief Executive-Designate on the 4th August 2020 and will officially take up the post of Chief Executive on the 1st of October 2020 following Keith’s retirement.

Having begun her career in the private sector, Tricia moved to the charity sector in 2008, where she has held senior leadership positions for the last 12 years. She is a Clore Social Leadership Fellow and a Trustee of a specialist Scottish charity which supports young women survivors of sexual violence.

Commenting on her appointment, Tricia said:

“Naturally, I am delighted to have been appointed as CEO at Impact Funding Partners.  I am committed to building on the rich heritage of excellence we have built over almost 40 years, and the values base which underpins that success, securing our position as an ambitious, trusted and expert partner for all of our stakeholders.”

Joanna McLaughlin Chair of the Impact Funding Partners Board added:

“Tricia is an outstanding strategic leader who brings a wealth of experience to the role. Tricia has a strong background in the third sector and significant experience of developing collaborative, cross-sector partnerships to help improve outcomes for vulnerable people and communities across Scotland. All of Impact Funding Partners’ work is underpinned by a commitment to promoting equality, relationships, openness, authenticity and dynamism and I am incredibly proud to welcome our new Chief Executive-Designate who embodies these values.

I look forward to working closely with Tricia over the coming months and years to build on Impact Funding Partners’ long history of supporting Scotland’s third sector and helping to build a fair, inclusive society where communities thrive and people are engaged, connected and able to shape their own lives.”

Joanna continued by recognising the impact Keith Wimbles has had on the organisation:

“On behalf of the Board, I would also like to thank Keith Wimbles for his strong leadership of Impact Funding Partners over the last 12 years, which will continue in the weeks ahead. Keith has been instrumental in growing and strengthening the organisation during his time as Chief Executive, including overseeing the successful launch of Impact Funding Partners’ new brand and strategy in 2019.”

Over the coming weeks Keith and Tricia will be working closely to ensure a seamless leadership transition and handover.
