Promoting Equality and Cohesion Fund (PECF) 2017 - 2020

Impact Funding Partners managed this fund on behalf of the Scottish Government between 2008 and 2020.

The aim was to make a real difference to people’s lives with the protected characteristics covered by the Equality Act 2010 of age, disability, gender reassignment, race, religion or belief, sex, sexual orientation, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy or maternity.

We provided fund management including development support and creating opportunities for organisations to come together to share, learn, collaborate and network through participation at themed cluster groups. The cluster groups provided a platform for expertise to be shared based on the lived experiences of people with protected characteristics.

Impact Funding Partners compiled and submitted an end of fund report to the funder.

Testimonials

“I feel my confidence growing because of the opportunities I’ve had, and the right support given to have these conversations with people in power and to have my say and be listened to. I felt this more and more as we went on”.
